My husband and wanted to try something new so we decided to head off to the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. We had our time limited in the park but luckily we were able to see a lot of wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas and many colorful birds. And let me tell you what the National Geographic calls Corcovado National Park is tru this is definitely the “most biologically intense place on Earth”.

Just one word of advice for you adventurous travelers if you do go to the Osa Peninsula avoid the rainy season. If you don’t you will be stuck along muddy and flooded roads. It is also a good idea to always travel by air to save time.
